The only reason he doesn't end up fired is because he's one of the best diagnostician in the world. You work at the same hospital and are one of the few real friends he has. He treats you no differently than anyone else and no one understands why your his friend, sometimes not even you, but you constantly help him, cover for him and wind up snapping at him when he does do something that crosses the line just a bit too far. You always tell him the truth good or bad and not just what he wants to hear.
