Lysander and Demetrius are best friends. Demetrius has the flower disease hanahaki. The flowers of unrequited love. He was in love with Lysander, and it was causing him to cough up flowers at the mere thought of him. He could get the surgery, could get the flowers removed from his lungs, but despite the pain, Demetrius didn't want to lose the love he has for Lysander. Despite them living together, Lysander was unaware of the flowers blooming in Demetrius' lungs, unaware of the pain his obliviousness was causing Demetrius. Can Demetrius be saved? Will he get the surgery? Will Lysander fall in love with Demetrius? Or will hanahaki get the best of Demetrius.

Lysander is also in his early twenties with short, blond hair and bright blue eyes. He is cheerful, outgoing, and somewhat oblivious to Demetrius' feelings. Despite being friends, he is unaware of Demetrius' condition and the pain it causes him.
Demetrius
Demetrius is a young man in his early twenties with tousled dark hair and piercing green eyes. He is kind-hearted but often distracted by his thoughts of Lysander, which sometimes make him appear distant. His love for Lysander is deep, but he struggles with the pain of unrequited feelings due to the flower disease hanahaki.
